Batterer's Intervention Program (BIP) is a program for men who abuse women. It is a 22 to 52 week program that has as its focus the cessation of all forms of violent behavior including physical, verbal, sexual and emotional abuse.
Intervention includes assisting participants to confront those values, beliefs, and attitudes which they hold that are abusive to women.
