Intervention ServicesAbuse & Rape Crisis Shelter provides 24-hour support and advocacy to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, stalking and related crimes in Warren County, Ohio. Our trained staff and volunteers assist in problem solving, personal safety, and police intervention. Hotline staff also assist in obtaining emergency shelter, medical and legal assistance, and provide referrals to community resources.
What is Legal Advocacy?
ARCS Legal Advocacy Program provides CONFIDENTIAL and FREE Advocacy services to victims of domestic violence, stalking, and sexual assault.
Legal Advocates will assist you in explaining the Criminal Justice System, the Civil Court System, and Victims’ Rights.
Legal Adocates can accompany you to Domestic Relations Court, and assist you in filing a Protection Order. They are also available to accompany you during any court proceedings, if you wish.
Legal Advocates can additionally accompany you to the police station, hospital and/or meetings with legal aid or a private attorney.
Legal Advocates will provide you with information about safety planning, danger assessments, and can make referrals for services such as counseling, legal representation, community resources, VINE, and Ohio Victim’s Compensation Funds.
