Prevention Services

The Warren County Violence Free Coalition is a recognized leader in violence prevention. We are committed to creating a culture of non-violence by promoting primary prevention through education, building community resources, influencing system change, and community awareness.

Violence Free Coalition

The Warren County Violence Free Coalition is a community collaborative with the goal of preventing intimate partner, family, sexual, and youth violence through social change.

Our Approach:

Through a primary prevention program, VFC focuses on preventing violent behavior before it begins.  Our prevention efforts are designed for broad scale change centered on individuals as well as changing the community environment; including systems and norms.  Our belief is one that has been studied; and when work is performed at several societal levels, preventing violence now and in future generations is possible.

Our Mission

The mission of Violence Free Coalition is to create a social climate in Warren County that holds domestic, youth, intimate partner, and sexual violence as unacceptable and preventable.  The VFC promotes primary prevention of violence through education, building community resources, system change, and public awareness.

Our Vision

Violence Free Coalition is a recognized leader in violence prevention, and is committed to creating a culture of non-violence.  Our diverse membership strives to develop innovative approaches involving strong partnerships to prevent violence in our schools, families, and communities.
